Day 2 of the Cabinet Installation in Austin

Episode 196 of the 365 series brings us back onsite at a client’s home in Austin for Day 2 of the installation.

After the progress made on the first day, the focus now shifts to continuing the installation and making sure each cabinet is properly aligned and secured before moving forward to the next sections of the project.

Installation days are always about details. Even when everything has been carefully designed and manufactured in the shop, the final fit always happens here — inside the home.

A Full Team On Site

One of the things that stands out during this installation is the size of the team working together.

Having the full crew onsite allows multiple parts of the project to move forward at the same time. While some team members focus on positioning and securing the cabinets, others are checking alignment, confirming measurements, and preparing the next pieces to be installed.

Custom cabinetry installations are rarely a one-person job. It takes coordination, communication, and a clear understanding of how each component fits into the larger design.

Watching the team move through the process together shows how the installation becomes more efficient when everyone understands their role.

Installation Is Where Everything Comes Together

Even with precise shop manufacturing, installation is where the final adjustments happen.

Walls may not be perfectly straight. Floors can shift slightly from one area of the house to another. Because of this, installers constantly check levels, spacing, and alignment to make sure every cabinet sits exactly where it should.

Throughout the day you’ll see the team:

• adjusting cabinet positions
• checking levels and measurements
• securing units to the wall
• preparing the next pieces for installation

These small steps may seem simple, but they are what ensure the finished cabinetry looks seamless once everything is complete.

Perspective from the Office

While the installation continues onsite, Ioana shares some perspective from the office about the progress of the project and the development of the team.

As new team members continue joining the company, each installation becomes another opportunity to see how the group works together and improves with every project.

Growth inside a cabinet company doesn’t just happen in the shop — it also happens through these installation days, where experience and teamwork really start to show.

Seeing the team work together confidently is something both Ioana and Sergiu are proud of as the company continues to grow.

Another Step Forward

Day 2 of the installation represents another step forward in the project.

Each cabinet installed brings the space closer to the finished design that was originally planned. What once existed as drawings and manufactured components is now becoming part of the home itself.

And as the team continues working through the installation, the progress becomes more visible with each passing day.

A Preview of What’s Next

Before wrapping up this episode, there’s a quick look at what’s coming in the next part of the project.

Tomorrow’s episode continues the installation process as the team moves into the next stage of the build.
